Well, after about 5 months more of waiting than we anticipated, it looks like we will finally be getting our chance to do a little travelling. Our itenerary as it stands right now:
May 1st: Fly from San Luis Obispo to Zurich, Switzerland.
May 2nd-10th: Travel through Switzerland, with the plan to see Zurich, Oberhallau (Where my great-grandparents Graf were from), Gimmelwald, and the train ride between Zermatt and St. Moritz.
May 10th-23rd: Join our friends Avery and Katie, (who have been studying and working in England for the past year), and travel with them through Slovenia, Croatia and over to Budapest.
May 23rd-26th: Travel back to England and spend a few days with Avery and Katie at the town they have been living in - Canterbury.
May 26th-June 7th: Drive the truck up the coast of California, Oregon and Washington in order to be at the wedding of Camille's friend Nick in Seattle.
June 8th-30th: Car camping and backpacking trip through most likely Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. Exact destinations unknown.
June 30th-July4th: I plan on fly-fishing the northern section of California with my friend Dave, while Camille hopes to do a road trip in the same area with my sister Lyndal.
July 5th-August 27th: Who knows? We know Camille wants to work on her Spanish, I would like to do some volunteer work, and both of us would like to find some warm water in which to practice our surfing. Who knows, maybe we could even go from ripping to shredding! At this point we are throwing around Oaxaca City, Mexico, or one of the towns we have already visited in El Salvador. We'll see.
